Sheep Shearing and Knitting Bed and Breakfast Getaway
Experience the Girlfriends Wooly Weekend at the Phineas Swann Inn in Montgomery, Vermont. The lavishly restored 1880’s Victorian farmhouse offers 3 hours of knitting lessons for up to six by an experienced weaver with hand spun yarn, bamboo knitting needles, and a knitting book to take home. Visit a local sheep farm (during the season) to watch shearing “in action” and receive 10% off products at Wool Folks. This fun package is exclusively available to our guests through an arrangement with the “Montgomery Weavers Gallery”, a cooperative of local women who raise their own sheep and loom and dye their own yarn with colors provided from flowers/bark from our local mountains and fields.
