2. What is your favorite part of the job?   Meeting all the guests

3. What is your least favorite part of the job?  Saying good-by to the guests

4. What is your best marketing tip? Word of mouth

5. Do you have a staff or do everything yourself?   Since my husband also
has another full time job, my mom helps us.

6. What type of marketing do you find most effective?  - Internet

7. Do you attend seminars? Buy B&B Guides?   Not usually

8. Which recipe do you always get rave reviews for?  Cream cheese & strawberry stuffed French Toast with hot strawberry sauce.

9. Do you work with other Innkeepers in your area or consider them competition?  We work very well together

10. Tell us about your most memorable guest?  There have been so many, but one couple renewed their wedding vows on our beautiful outside porch and had
a small party afterwards

11. Do you have any horror stories from past guests?  Not yet, thank God

12. What do you think the biggest misconception is about staying at a B&B? I think most people still think that most B&B’s have shared bathrooms and no TV’s.

13. What would you like to change about the industry?  Since we’ve only been in it a short time, I really can’t answer that.

14. Do you have any time saving tips or marketing treasures that you would like to share?  No, but if anyone else has, I wish they would share them
with us.

15. What makes your B&B unique? We are a 50’s theme B&B, we have an Elvis Suite, Marilyn Room, 50’s TV room, 50’s Music Room, 50’s Movie room, Life’s
a beach room, 60’s Suite and our new 70’s room which will be open shortly. All rooms have beautiful hand painted murals.  Our breakfast room is a 50’s
style diner complete with diner booths, neon lights and a 1953’s Seeburg jukebox.  Our afternoon refreshments consist of root beer floats, milkshakes
and soft pretzels,  Not your typical B&B.
