1. How long have you been in the B&B and/or hospitality business?  
At the Grand View Inn & Resort in NH…5 years this month, On Cape Cod 40 years

2. What is your favourite part of the job?
Meeting some of the nicest people and we host weddings, that is always lots of fun

3. What is your least favourite part of the job?
Meeting folks that you can not please no matter how much effort you give.

4. What is your best marketing tip?
I wish I had one…we market mostlly through the internet…its always a guessing game.

5. Do you have a staff or do everything yourself?
we have staff

6. What type of marketing do you find most effective?
The internet has proven the best for us.

7. Do you attend seminars? Buy B&B Guides?
No….No

8. Which recipe do you always get rave reviews for?
Well we have a restaurant, our beef is really our signature dish.

9. Do you work with other Innkeepers in your area or consider them competition?
we work together…

10. Tell us about your most memorable guest?
Paul Newman, stayed with us and played pool in our game room recalling the movie he made about pool
11. Do you have any horror stories from past guests?
I am sure there are some but we try to forget them

12. What do you think the biggest misconception is about staying at a B&B?
That it is intrusive into someeone elses home. Our B&b is occupied by only our guests we have multiple houses on our property. We give our guests full run of the house.

14. Do you have any time saving tips or marketing treasures that you would like to share?
none that I can think of

15. What makes your B&B unique?
We are a gentlemans farm turned B&B resort with a spa in old stable area and a fuctionhall in a hay barn
