Lowell and Judith Gilbert innkeepers of The Colony Hospital Bed and Breakfast, Bishop Hill, IL fell in love with the work of artist Roy Bostrom of Moline. Whilst there were many paintings of the Bishop Hill area there were none of the Colony Hospital. Therefore as a tribute to the 150th anniversary of the Colony Hospital they commissioned Roy to paint a picture of the rear exterior of the buidling. The Colony Hospital B&B is situated in a peaceful village and has five guest rooms.
