Mansion on Main Bed & Breakfast of Texarkana is a two-story Victorian Inn conveniently located in the downtown historic area near State Line Avenue, Museums, Federal and State Court Houses, Wadley Hospital, fine restaurants and antique shops.

Built in 1895, the Inn recently has undergone a complete restoration to historic standards, and was awarded a Texas Historic Medallion. The spectacular 2-story columns were salvaged from the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair ‘accent the exterior veranda’. The home is a comfortable 5,500 square feet of living space. Each of the five large luxury bedrooms have a sitting area and each has a private in-room bath.

Texarkana is indeed a unique city; in fact, it is two cities - one in Arkansas and one in Texas, each governed by separate City Councils. The state line functions as the boundary street and principal thoroughfare - with the Post Office, State and Federal Court Buildings in the middle of the street, serving both cities. In the court buildings, a prisoner or a judge is legally in either state, an extraordinary example of practical government cooperation. Two cities in two states working together as one spawns a unique hospitality that is ‘twice as nice’.
