Jacksonville (Southern), Oregon
The McCully House Inn has 3,468 square feet of living space. Located in downtown Jackson, the establishment is a well-known landmark. McCully House features fine dining with an atmosphere that will not compare to anywhere else in Jackson County. The Inn welcomes guests to a sleepover in the McCully Suite, Doll Suite or Girls Suite. Each accommodation is wonderfully appointed with private baths.
When newly constructed in 1861, Dr. J. W. McCully’s mansion was one of the most expensive and palatial residences in the booming gold rush town of Jacksonville, Oregon. Today’s visitors to Jacksonville can continue to enjoy the elegance and grace of one of the town’s most important historical homes. After more than ten years of painstaking restoration, this stately mansion is once again welcoming guests as the McCully House Inn.
Standing on East California Street, at the edge of Jacksonville’s shopping and restaurant district, the McCully House Inn is on the National Registry of Historic Places and is one of the six original dwellings of the town. It is also the home to 85 different varieties of Jackson and Perkins rose that line the walk and peek out of the white picket fence to greet you.
As a new owner, you will find separate owners’ quarters complete with living room, bedroom and private bath with shower. This area might be used as an additional unit for additional income.
McCully House is also known throughout Southern Oregon for its catering business. This is also included in the asking price of $1,200,000. List of equipment is available.
